Freescha - Head Warlock Double Stare

If I tried to explain my mood over the past year in words, it would just end up being a big fucking jumbled up mess. However, if I were to explain my mood over the past year in music, it would be the music that Freescha produce. "Head Warlock Double Stare" (one of my new found favorite album titles) is a mixed, matched, mashed up soundtrack for the nightmares of my dream world (and for this matter my awake world). Electronic wizardry evokes other worlds from far off distant galaxies in a mesmerizing and at times scary ride. I think this is what they call "Phantom Pop" created by warped pianos and synthesizers. It is at times frenetic, dark and other times soft and weary of its existence.

I had a dream the other night; I was driving in my car fast away from the demons of my life that I could barely escape. The CD player was loaded up with "Head Warlock Double Stare" carrying me thru the vast, deep dark landscape of my constantly revolving brain patterns of pain, misery, and happiness. "Killer On The Ride" was blasting the speakers bringing the fear of impending disaster to my dream world ride. It spoke to me, go faster, go faster the killer is on your tail, keep driving, and don’t stop. And finally the song dropped to a slow lullaby bringing me awake in a cold sweat.

Yes, I have decided that when I die I want Freescha to be blaring in the background while I am on full display in my casket.
